Army identify 11 children abducted by LTTE

Army headquarters yesterday identified 11 children abducted from Eravur, Chenkalady, Kalawanchikudy, Batticaloa and Mandoor in the recent past.
An army spokesman said that they had been abducted by LTTE for conscription on the dates mentioned against their names.

1. Nesathurai Vinodaraj (17) (31 May 2005), 2. Kumarasami Siyamalan (15) (16 July 2005), 3. Nesathuri Ramesh (15) (31 May 2005), 4. Kaneshan Kadiresan (17) (16 July 2005), 5. Maheswaran Kaliyugan (15) (24 July 2005), 6. Kanaganayagam Sudarshan (17) (16 July 2005), 7. Kunam Janarhanan (17) (23 May 2005)

8. Devendran Jegan (17) (16 July 2005), 9. Thiyagaraja Arulsivam (16) (05 May 2005), 10. Kanagasabai Vinodraj (17) (16 July 2005), 11. Kunarattinam Raguraj (17) (16 July 2005).

All those abductions have been brought to the notice of the Sri Lanka Monitoring Mission (SLMM) by the Security Forces.
